The Market Scale
Polished and still, an old brass scale waits in a covered market before the gates open. Hour by hour it swings under plums, sea salt, and ice-packed fish, until closing light finds it dusted with flour and at rest.

The Puddle Map
After night rain, small NOA hops a chain of puddles down the old-town street, each one holding a different piece of the city — balconies, wires, circling gulls. The sun climbs, and his map dries away piece by piece.

The Swallow Street
Swallows stitch low over a cobbled street where café tables are being set for lunch. When evening empties the chairs they rise to the eaves, and the street's roar hands over to wingbeats and stacked plates.
The Corner Fountain
On a shaded corner, a stone fountain runs quietly for no one all morning. Through the hot afternoon it gathers the whole street — dogs, cyclists, a melon seller rinsing fruit — then holds the moon alone at night.
The Tide Garden
At low tide, GRANDFATHER EMRYS walks far out onto the sand flats to tend the stone fish traps his family has kept for generations. Dusk brings the sea back to erase every footprint and close the garden until tomorrow.
